Best advice for low leagues: 2gate robo push works wonders until diamond. That or 4gate.
I've been doing the 4gate, and it sometimes works, but if its against terran or toss, they sometimes have some stupid amount of walling off that wastes my units. What's 2gate robo do?
IDK if theres a guide or anything to it, its just something i started doing myself, and winning alot with in mid diamond range. Basically, it will own any toss who is going for some blink stalker or 4gate stalker push, will destroy the 7 roach rush, or any roach heavy zerg army. Its med effective against terran, best vs heavy marauder forces.
What it is basically: normal 12gate/core opener, but you get the second gas early, and throw down a robo after the first stalker or so, and another gate when you have extra money. keep pushing probes, and immortals. I usually go out either with two immortals, and about 4 stalkers and same zels. when its about time to add a third gate, you should be ready to move out. If the other person early expanded, you can pretty much say bye bye expansion.
If its roach/stalker/marauder heavy forces, you can probably win the game outright, but its rare, especially against zerg. Best option for this build is to take out the expansion, save the rest of your army and then backup and expand. You can then easily tech to colosi and be assured that you are for the most part safe. You can then push out a bit later, and if you did deny a zerg's expo, probably win the game.
Also, if you scout a 7RR, which is a roach warren going down without any, not one, not two, 0 zerglings being made, this build will demolish it.
By the time the roaches come knocking, you should have an immortal and 2 or 3 stalkers. Annhilate them and then you can cruise to an easy win.
